

15-year-old arrested for impaired driving
At around 1:00 a.m. this morning, the RNC conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the west end of St. John’s. A 15-year-old male was arrested for impaired driving. The male was later released from police custody to his parents with a future court date for impaired driving, driving over 80 mg% and breach of probation. He was also ticketed for driving without a license. The vehicle was impounded.

Fuel prices decrease once again
Fuel prices decreased across Newfoundland and Labrador following the latest adjustment by the Public Utilities Board. The Board said all types of gasoline motor fuel decreased by up to 0.8 cents per litre. Diesel motor fuel on the Island decreased by up to 3.0 cents per litre, while diesel motor fuel in western Labrador decreased by 2.5 cents per litre.
