Canada is headed to the gold-medal game in men’s hockey at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics after rallying past Finland in the semifinal.

The Canada men's national ice hockey team erased a two-goal deficit to defeat Finland 3-2 on Friday at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena, securing a spot in the championship game.

Goals from Sam Reinhart, Shea Theodore and Nathan MacKinnon powered the comeback as Canada pushed into the final of the Olympic tournament.

Canada will play the winner of the other semifinal between the United States and Slovakia in the gold-medal game scheduled for Sunday morning.

The victory sends Canada into a chance to claim Olympic gold as the tournament wraps up at the Milano Cortina Games, with the Canadians continuing a strong run through the men’s hockey competition.
