Team Canada beats Switzerland in Men's Ice Hockey

This evening, Team Canada dominated the Preliminaries in ice hockey, beating Switzerland by a score of 5 to 1.
In Period 1, Canada scored two goals, and Switzerland got 1. In Period 2, Canada took another goal, and then two more in the third.
Canada had 39 shots on goal, and Switzerland had 25.
Canada currently has seven medals, they include three silver and four bronze, putting Canada in 17th place. Norway is the team with the most medals, coming in at 18, eight are gold, three are silver, and seven are bronze.
The Winter Olympics are being held in Milano Cortina, Italy. The games began on February 4 and will conclude on February 22, 2026.
