Premier Furey Announces Funding for Turf Upgrades at Topsail Soccer Field

Premier Andrew Furey announced an investment of approximately $150,000 to support upgrading the turf at the Topsail Soccer Field on Thursday.

The Town of Conception Bay South will fund the remainder of the project, valued at more than $900,000.

The investment will ensure the soccer facility is ready for the 2025 Canada Games. This facility will also provide support to the town’s soccer community.

Furey said, "With its incredible views, the Topsail Soccer Field is going to wow spectators and athletes alike during the 2025 Canada Games. With the help of our investment of $150,000, the soccer turf will be replaced, ensuring top-notch infrastructure for the Games and beyond for the town’s vibrant soccer community.”
