Mount Pearl Blades Minor Hockey taking part in Hockey with Heart

The Mount Pearl Blades Minor Hockey will be taking part in Hockey with Heart this year.
Hockey with Heart is a monetary food drive in support of Mount Pearl food banks.
While this event started many years ago as a food drive, during COVID-19, it transitioned to a money drive and, since 2020, has raised over $50,000.
Players will be spread across the city collecting monetary donations for our local food banks.
President Mike Kelly said, "As an association, we are so proud to be the leaders of this cause each and every year. It’s a tremendous community initiative that helps so many families. To see our young hockey players work together for a great cause and learn about giving back at such a young age is inspiring. Hockey with Heart is always a highlight in our hockey season, and we are so proud as an association of its success."
This year’s Hockey with Heart will take place Saturday, November 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
