The City of St. John’s is advising residents and visitors to expect increased traffic downtown during the Montana’s Brier, running from Feb. 27 to March 8.
Officials say lane reductions and a temporary pedestrian crossing will be in place on New Gower Street near the Mary Brown’s Centre at various times throughout the event to improve safety and access.
The city is encouraging people to plan ahead, use public transit, taxis or ride-sharing, or arrive early as parking will be limited. A special Metrobus Brier TransitPass offering unlimited rides during the event will also be available.
Additional information on parking, accessibility and traffic changes is available from the City of St. John’s.
