

Two men charged after robbery in downtown St. John’s
Two men are facing multiple charges following a reported robbery in the centre city area of St. John’s on Tuesday evening. Another nice day expected for most of the province
It will be mainly sunny across the Avalon and central sections of the Island. Along the west coast, a mix of sun and cloud is expected with a chance of showers in the Corner Brook region. Another fuel jump for May 6
Fuel prices are up once again today. The price of gasoline increased by 5.8 cents per litre. Diesel on the Island increased 5.7 cents while diesel in western Labrador increased by 8.2 cents per litre. Furnace oil is up by 4.94 cents, and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador increased by 7.88 cents. The next price adjustment is on Thursday, May 7.
