

Man charged following incident on Bay Bulls Road in St. John's
A 32-year-old man has been charged following an incident on Bay Bulls Road in St. John's Tuesday afternoon. Police responded to a 911 call reporting unknown trouble in the area around 2:45 p.m. Following an investigation, officers arrested the man and charged him with common assault, uttering threats, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and assault by choking. The accused was taken to the city lockup and held for a court appearance.
