Celebrity Silhouette bringing nearly 2,900 passengers to St. John’s Monday

A cruise ship carrying nearly 2,900 passengers is scheduled to arrive in St. John’s today.

The Celebrity Silhouette is expected to be in port from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The ship is carrying 2,886 passengers.

Celebrity Silhouette is travelling on a 14-night Greenland and Iceland itinerary, with stops in Reykjavik and Akureyri, Iceland, as well as Qaqortoq, Greenland, St. John’s, Halifax, Sydney and Boston.

The visit is part of the city’s 2026 cruise season.
