West-End St John's Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Impaired Driver

At around 1:10 a.m. RNC Patrol Officers conducted a traffic safety stop in the west end of St. John’s.


As a result of the stop, a 45 year old male driver was arrested for impaired driving and was conveyed back to RNC headquarters to which the male provided two breath samples which resulted in a fail. The male was charged for impaired driving and his vehicle was impounded.


The male was released on documents to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
