Stormy weather to continue across Newfoundland
Along the west coast and Northern Peninsula East, snowfall amounts of 20 to 50 cm are expected with wind gusts to 80 km/h. Rain will change to snow today and continue through to Friday evening.
Even more snow is expected for the Green Bay, Deer Lake, and interior area. In these areas snowfall amounts of 30 to 60 cm are expected. Additionally, winds will gust between 60 and 80 km/h.
Rain is the story in the Connaigre region and Burin Peninsula. By Friday morning amounts of 60 to 90 mm are possible.
