Snow is expected across the Island portion of the province today. Most areas will see 5 to 10 cm of snow. For the Avalon Peninsula and south coast, snow may mix with rain at times. Highs today will be from minus 12 to plus 2. It will be mostly fair across Labrador with a chance of flurries in a couple of areas. Highs will be from minus 22 to minus 18.

There is a risk of snow squalls along the south and west coast today, with up to 5 cm expected. There is a chance of flurries on the Great Northern Peninsula, and sun and cloud is expected for the metro area. Highs from minus 6 to minus 4 are expected. In western Labrador, about 2 cm of snow is expected today. There is a chance of flurries for the Happy Valley-Goose Bay area, and sun and cloud is expected in Nain. Highs today will range from minus 12 to minus 6.

It will be cold across the province today. In Newfoundland, 2 cm of snow is expected along the west coast. There is a chance of flurries for central and eastern Newfoundland, and sun and cloud for the Burin and Northern Peninsula. Highs will range from minus 16 to minus 7. Across Labrador, expect mostly sunny skies with highs from minus 21 to minus 19.

Today, some snow and blowing snow is expected in western Labrador. Coastal areas will see sunny skies on Saturday and cloudy conditions on Sunday. On the Island, it will be nice today with sunny skies expected. On Sunday, there is a risk of flurries or showers for most of the Island. Highs will hover close to freezing all weekend.

Most of the Island will see partly cloudy skies tonight. There is a risk of flurries in central. Areas along the western half of the Great Northern Peninsula will see about 2 cm of snow this evening. Lows overnight will range from minus 11 to minus 4. Across Labrador tonight, expect partly cloudy skies, areas along the coast will gradually clear overnight. Lows from minus 28 to minus 14 are expected, with the coldest temperatures expected inland.

Across Newfoundland, most areas will see 5 cm of snow today. Over the Avalon, Burin, and Central, snow will change to rain in the afternoon. 2 cm of snow is anticipated on the Northern Peninsula. Highs will be between minus 2 and plus 5. There is a risk of flurries for most of Labrador today with high temperatures ranging from minus 11 to minus 1.

Tonight, there is a chance of flurries for eastern and central Newfoundland. Along the west coast, some flurries will move in overnight. The Great Northern Peninsula will see cloudy skies to start before some flurries move in overnight. Lows tonight will range from minus 7 to minus 2. Across Labrador, expected 2 cm of snow for most areas with lows from minus 20 to minus 6.

Most areas of the Island will see 2 cm of snow today. On the Great Northern Peninsula, snow will end this morning. Highs today will range from minus 3 to 0. Across Labrador, Churchill Falls and Happy Valley-Goose Bay will see 2 cm of snow. Meanwhile, there is a chance of flurries in Labrador City and a mix of sun and cloud is expected in Nain. Highs today will be from minus 17 to minus 9.

Eastern and central areas of the Island will see overcast conditions with a chance of flurries overnight. Along the west coast, 2 cm of snow is expected and on the Great Northern Peninsula, 5 cm of snow is expected. Lows tonight will range from minus 3 to 0. Across Labrador tonight, expect 2 cm of snow for both Churchill Falls and Happy Valley-Goose Bay and it will be partly cloudy elsewhere. Lows overnight will dip between minus 22 and minus 15.

Snow is expected across Newfoundland tonight. Snowfall amounts of 5 cm are expected. The exception is along the south coast, where up to 10 cm is possible. Some areas along the south coast will also switch to rain. Winds will gust between 60 and 80 km/h. Lows from minus 4 to 0 are expected. Across Labrador, most areas will see cloudy periods and lows from minus 23 to minus 15.

Conditions will be fair across most of Newfoundland to give most of us time to dig out from yesterday's storm. Highs will vary from minus 6 to 0. Severe winter weather continues across Newfoundland this morning with heavy snow and strong winds. The heaviest snow will fall over the Avalon Peninsula. The Avalon Peninsula Southeast will see another 10 to 15 cm by this evening with winds gusting between 80 and 100 km/h. For St. John's and the metro area, 15 cm of snow is expected by this evening with winds gusting from 80 to 100 km/h. Parts of central, northeastern and eastern Newfoundland will get another 5 to 10 cm, and

An area of low pressure will deliver another blast of winter to St. John's and the Avalon Peninsula Southeast. Snow will start this evening and continue until Sunday afternoon. Snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm are possible, combined with winds gusting to 100 km/h. This comes on the heels of a powerful storm on Wednesday that shut the region down for two days. Over the southeastern Avalon, snow will mix with, or transition to, rain along parts of the coast on Sunday afternoon.

Across eastern and central Newfoundland, cloudy periods are expected overnight. There is a chance of flurries on the west coast while snow and blowing snow persist on the Great Northern Peninsula. Lows tonight will range from minus 15 to minus 4. In Labrador, cloudy periods are expected for most are except for southeastern sections and the Happy Valley-Goose Bay area where snow is expected. Tonight, temperatures will range from minus 22 to minus 9.

The weather in eastern Newfoundland has finally shown some improvement. A mix of sun and cloud is expected today for the Avalon and cloudy in central. Along the west coast some flurries are expected with Port aux Basques likely picking up 2 cm. Highs will range from minus 5 to minus 1. Snow is expected across most of Labrador with Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Churchill Falls seeing 2 to 4 cm and Nain seeing 5 cm. Highs from minus 17 to minus 5 are expected.

In the St. John's area today, 5 cm of snow is expected. There will be some snow this morning on the Burin Peninsula and some flurries in Gander, with about 2 cm anticipated. Highs on the Island will range from minus 2 and plus 1. There is a chance of flurries across Labrador with highs ranging from minus 9 to minus 4.

Snow will continue across eastern and central Newfoundland tonight. St. John's will see another 15 to 20 cm, Gander will see 10 to 15 cm, Grand Falls-Windsor will receive 10 cm, and Marystown is looking at 2 to 4 cm. Meanwhile, it's a different story along the West Coast, where there is a risk of flurries. Lows tonight will range from minus 4 to 0. There is also a chance of flurries across Labrador tonight with lows ranging from minus 12 to minus 11.

Heavy snow will continue today across the Avalon, Burin, and central areas of the Island. On the Avalon, 10 to 20 cm of snow is anticipated. 15 to 25 cm is expected today in the Clarenville area, and 10 to 15 cm in Gander. It will be largely fair along the West Coast. Highs will be from minus 3 to plus 2. Labrador will see mostly cloudy skies today with a few scattered flurries. Highs from minus 9 to minus 3 are expected.

Overnight, we will see the start of the winter storm. On the Avalon Peninsula, 15 cm of snow is expected tonight along with wind gusts to 70 km/h. In Marystown, amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected with wind gusts to 70 km/h. In central it will be cloudy with cloudy periods on the west coast. Lows from minus 5 to 0 are expected. Cloudy skies are expected across Labrador with flurries for Churchill Falls and Labrador City. Lows from minus 8 to minus 13 are expected.

An area of low pressure will bring snow to a good chunk of Newfoundland tonight, Wednesday, and Wednesday night. The heaviest snow is expected in St. John's and the Northern Avalon Peninsula, where snowfall amounts of 25 to 50 cm are possible.
