Storm gets underway tonight

Overnight, we will see the start of the winter storm. On the Avalon Peninsula, 15 cm of snow is expected tonight along with wind gusts to 70 km/h. In Marystown, amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected with wind gusts to 70 km/h. In central it will be cloudy with cloudy periods on the west coast. Lows from minus 5 to 0 are expected.

Cloudy skies are expected across Labrador with flurries for Churchill Falls and Labrador City. Lows from minus 8 to minus 13 are expected.
