Sport NL opens nominations for 2025 Annual Awards

Sport Newfoundland and Labrador has opened nominations for its 2025 Annual Awards, recognizing outstanding athletic achievements and contributions from across the province.

The annual program honours excellence in 15 categories, celebrating athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and organizations for their impact on sport in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Sport NL said nominations must be submitted through Provincial Sport Organizations. Individuals wishing to put forward a nominee are encouraged to contact their respective provincial sport body for details on the process.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 30, 2026.
