RNC searching for missing vulnerable youth

The RNC is continuing the search for a missing teen in St. John's.

Melissa Morrell, aged 14, was last seen on Friday, June 3 in the area of Thorburn Road.

She is five feet tall with a medium build. She has light brown hair below her shoulders and brown eyes. Morrell was wearing a plaid button shirt and grey pants when she was last seen but is believed to have multiple changes of clothing.

Police believe that Morrell is fleeing the Northeast Avalon region of the province to travel to New Brunswick with assistance from an unauthorized adult.

The RNC has significant concerns for the safety and well-being of this vulnerable youth, and calls upon the community to contact the RNC with any information to assist in her safe location.
