RCMP investigating fires in the Small Point-Adam's Cove-Blackhead-Broad Cove area

The RCMP, in collaboration with provincial agencies, is currently investigating the wildfires that have impacted the Small Point-Adam's Cove-Blackhead-Broad Cove area.

Investigations into smaller brushfires that were reported to the police earlier this summer are also ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Harbour Grace RCMP.

Anyone with information about fires in the area is urged to contact Harbour Grace RCMP at 709-596-5014.

Earlier today, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador issued a province-wide fire ban, which will be in place until at least September 7, 2025. Violating a fire ban can result in a fine of no less than $1,000.
