Pilot stabbed in attempted high jacking on FlyDubai flight

There was terror in the skies above Jordan and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday aboard a FlyDubai flight according to reports.

According to officials, a pilot on the flight from the United Arab Emirates to Israel stabbed another pilot. After stabbing the pilot, they then attempted to crash the plane.

The flight was carrying 170 people. In a bid to save the aircraft, passengers overtook the attacker. The plane later landed safely in Saudi Arabia.

There was no word on the motivation behind the attack.
