NL Summer Games Torch Relay to Visit Stephenville and Corner Brook Ahead of August Competition

The countdown to the 2026 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games continues as the official Torch Relay prepares to make stops in Stephenville and Corner Brook ahead of the provincial sporting event.

The Games will be held in Corner Brook from Aug. 8 to 15.

The relay will first visit Stephenville on July 29 from 11 a.m. to noon. The route will begin at the YMCA and conclude at the Mayfield Soccer Pitch.

The torch will then travel to Corner Brook on Aug. 2, also from 11 a.m. to noon. The relay will start in front of City Hall and finish at the Corner Brook Civic Centre.

The 2026 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games will officially begin with an opening ceremony at the Corner Brook Civic Centre on Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.

The Games will conclude with a closing ceremony at the same venue on Aug. 15 at 2 p.m.
