Much of Newfoundland and Labrador will see mild, unsettled weather tonight as rain, drizzle and gusty winds move across the province.

On the Avalon Peninsula, cloudy skies will persist this evening, with periods of drizzle or rain developing overnight. Temperatures will remain well above seasonal levels, holding near 6 to 7. Gusty southerly winds will continue.

Across central and western Newfoundland, conditions will remain mainly cloudy tonight with a chance of showers. Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing overnight, hovering near 1 to 2 degrees by morning. Winds will remain brisk, particularly in exposed areas.

In southwestern Newfoundland, periods of drizzle or rain are forecast overnight along with patchy fog. Strong winds are expected, with powerful gusts possible in the Wreckhouse region.

In Labrador, light rain is forecast to continue overnight after earlier snow changed to rain in many areas. Temperatures will stay near the freezing mark, with moderate winds expected.
