Man arrested in Mount Pearl for alleged breach of release order

A 37-year-old man has been arrested after police say he was found at a residence in Mount Pearl despite court-ordered conditions prohibiting him from being there.

RNC responded to a report of an unwelcome person at a home around 2:19 a.m. on Feb. 22.

Officers arrived at the residence and located a man who was allegedly in violation of his court-imposed conditions.

Police say the man was arrested at the scene following a brief investigation and charged with multiple breaches of his release order. He was held in custody to appear in provincial court later in the morning.
