Man arrested by RCMP for discharging firearm at residence in Frederickton
The RCMP arrested 22-year-old Aaron Russell of Carmanville on Tuesday after a recent report of a firearm being discharged at a residence in Frederickton.
Police received the report back on September 14. The report indicated that a shot was fired at a home on Bayview Road in Frederickton. RCMP officers from Carmanville and Gander detachments, as well as RCMP Police Dog Services and Forensic Identification Services, attended the scene.
There were no injuries and officers determined that the incident was not a random act.
Aaron Russell, who was known to the home occupant, was identified as the suspect. Efforts to locate Russell were unsuccessful and a warrant for his arrest was obtained.
