Newfoundland, including the Avalon Peninsula, faces a risk of freezing drizzle and light flurries overnight, raising the potential for slick roads and sidewalks as temperatures remain near –1 C. Central and western regions can expect occasional flurries and lows between –3 C and 1 C.
In Labrador, clouds will increase with scattered flurries developing in the west, while central and coastal regions remain mainly cloudy. Overnight lows are expected to range from –10 C to –14 C in western and central Labrador, with wind chill making it feel colder, while northern areas such as Nain will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures near –12 C.
