Labrador City Announces Partial Lift of Evacuation Orders, Alerts Remain in Place

Labrador City has lifted evacuation orders for the following areas:

• Duley Lake

• Tamarack Golf Course

• Throne Lake

These areas remain under Evacuation Alert. Residents in these areas can return to their properties effective immediately.

The evacuation order remains in place for the following area until further notice:

• Walsh River residents and cabin owners.

The Air Quality Health Index for the region is forecasted as ‘low risk’ for Thursday and Friday (July 2 and 3), except ‘high risk’ in the presence of smoke.
