Kenmount Road Construction Resuming Early May #nltraffic

Phase three of the Kenmount Road Trunk Storm Sewer project is scheduled to begin on May 3.

Until the end of April, the contractor will be conducting sporadic exploratory digs in the area of Kenmount between Pippy Place and the Team Gushue Highway overpass. As a result, there will be some minor traffic diversions around small excavations.

Excavation of the main trench, scheduled to begin the first week of May, will reduce traffic on Kenmount Road to two lanes. Traffic on Kenmount Road will be maintained with one lane in each direction; however, disruptions and slowdowns are expected.

Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of the road during construction.

This is the fourth year of construction work required to upgrade the storm sewer along Kenmount Road to the Team Gushue Highway overpass.
