Human remains discovered near Three Island Pond in Paradise

The RNC is investigating after human remains were located in the area of Three Island Pond in Paradise.

Earlier today police responded to a wooded area near Three Island Pond in Paradise following a report of potential human remains in the area.

On arrival, officers located the scene and confirmed there were human remains on site.

At this time the investigation in to the identity and cause of death of the individual remains active with the RNC in consultation with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

As the investigation continues, there will be a police presence in the area.
