Growlers beat Royals in Game 5

The Newfoundland Growlers beat the Reading Royals 5 to 1 on Thursday night keeping the dream of a 2022 Kelly Cup victory alive.

In the first period the Growlers scored one goal in the second period both teams scored a goal. In the third period, the Growlers scored 3 goals.

The next game is on Saturday, May 14 at 8:30 pm away from home ice.

The Reading Royals currently lead the series 3 to 2.
