Fire crews respond to electrical fire in Mount Pearl, resulting in no injuries, Saturday evening.

Firefighters with the St. John's Regional Fire Department, along with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) and NL Health Services (NLHS), quickly responded to a reported residential structure fire at a residence on Ashford Drive in Mount Pearl, shortly before 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a minor fire originating from an electrical meter inside the home. Crews promptly cut power to the residence and extinguished the small fire. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported following the incident, and the situation was brought under control without further complications.
