Fuel prices take another jump

There is a bump in fuel prices today.

Gas is up by 2.1 cents per litre. The cost of diesel on the Island increased by 6.9 cents, and diesel in western Labrador jumped 6.5 cents.

The price of furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 5.94 cents per litre and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador went up by 5.67 cents per litre.

These changes are based on the most recently available market data as of the close of business on October 22, and as a result do not reflect more recent market activity. The Board’s next price adjustment is on Tuesday, October 27.
