Cloudy across most of the province with areas of snow

On the Avalon Peninsula, there will be snow later in the morning. There is a risk of freezing drizzle in the early hours, with total snow amounts around 2 centimetres. High temperatures are expected to reach about minus 1 C, with strong gusts easing as winds shift.
Across Clarenville, Bonavista Peninsula and Terra Nova regions, conditions will be cloudy with a greater chance of flurries and occasional freezing drizzle through the day. Northeasterly winds will die down in the afternoon, and temperatures will stay near or just below zero.
In central areas such as Gander and the Bay of Exploits, the forecast calls for mainly cloudy skies and flurries.
Further west, including Corner Brook, Gros Morne and Deer Lake, Monday will be mainly cloudy with occasional flurries, with high temperatures near plus 1 C, though colder wind chills are possible this morning.
South coast communities including Burin Peninsula and Burgeo-Ramea can expect periods of snow ending this afternoon followed by cloudier skies for the evening. Winds will remain moderate, with high temperatures near or slightly above zero.
Monday will bring a mix of sun and cloud with scattered flurries across much of Labrador, and generally cold temperatures for most communities.
In Labrador City and Wabush, skies will be partly cloudy with a blend of sun and cloud expected through the day and a high near minus 3 C. Winds will remain light.
Across Churchill Falls and surrounding valleys, Monday’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with a chance of morning flurries followed by brighter breaks, with a daytime high around minus 2 C.
Upper Lake Melville communities should expect mainly cloudy conditions and scattered flurries with a high near minus 4 C and slight wind chill.
In Nain and nearby northern areas, Monday will be mainly sunny, though winds will pick up in the afternoon. Highs will reach about minus 7 C.
Other coastal regions including Rigolet and Cartwright to Black Tickle can expect cloudy skies with a chance of flurries through the day and highs near minus 5 C to around zero in southern coastal spots.
