Camping Reservations Open April 22 as ParksNL Announces 2026 Season Changes

ParksNL says reservations for the 2026 camping season will open later this month, with several changes to park schedules and availability.

The online reservation system will open April 22 at 7 a.m., or 6:30 a.m. in most of Labrador. Campers can book sites through the provincial reservation website or by phone.

Nine provincial parks are scheduled to open in time for the Victoria Day long weekend, marking the unofficial start of the camping season.

Among the changes this year, Sandbanks Provincial Park and Sir Richard Squires Memorial Provincial Park will open earlier than in previous seasons, while Blow Me Down Provincial Park will extend its season by an additional week.

ParksNL says seasonal camping fees have been adjusted to reflect the updated schedules. Any seasonal campsites that remain unsold will be made available for short-term bookings beginning the Monday before each park’s opening date.

Campers are encouraged to create or update their online profiles ahead of time to help ensure a smooth reservation process.
