Appointments at Waterford Hospital cancelled after fire

Eastern Health has advised that all outpatient appointments and services at the Waterford Hospital, scheduled for Monday are cancelled after a fire at the site on Saturday.

Those impacted will be contacted to reschedule their appointment.

Scheduled telephone and virtual appointments are not impacted.

Eastern Health has implemented visitor restrictions at the Waterford Hospital. At this time, the public is asked not to visit the facility and an update will be provided when visitation can safely resume.

Individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis or needing mental health support should call the NL HealthLine at 811. In case of emergency, go to the nearest Emergency Department or call 911 for an ambulance.
