Two Court Dodgers Picked Up

At 10:00 am on Thursday the RNC Operational Patrol Services conducted a traffic safety stop on Canada Drive, St John’s and determined that the 44 year old male driver was on a court order not to operate a motor vehicle. He was also in violation of several other court ordered conditions. As a result, he was arrested and held for a court appearance and his vehicle was impounded.
Then at 9:18 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a residence in the center city area of St. John’s on a request for assistance from Eastern Health Paramedics. On arrival, officers identified a 42 year old woman that was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. After being medically cleared by hospital staff, the woman was taken to the lock-up to be held for court in the morning.
