Youth killed in ATV crash in Hampden

RCMP says that another person has died in an ATV crash.

A youth is deceased after an ATV crash in Hampden on Thursday night. Another youth sustained minor injuries.

Police determined that the ATV was travelling at a high rate of speed on Main Street in Hampden, lost control and went down over an embankment onto Elms Place.

The two occupants were thrown from the ATV during the collision. Both youths were wearing helmets, however, the helmet of the driver was not properly secured and came off during the collision.
