Worker injured in industrial accident in Mount Pearl

A worker was injured in an industrial accident in Mount Pearl early Tuesday morning.

RNC and Firefighters with the St. John's Regional Fire Department responded to the incident on Glencoe Drive at approximately 2:10 a.m. on March 24.

Police said a Town of Paradise employee reported being hurt while working on a piece of heavy equipment.

The incident has been referred to Occupational Health and Safety for further investigation.
