Women arrested following single vehicle crash on Team Gushue Highway

At around 4:22 PM Yesterday August 31 2025 members with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Team Gushue Highway.

Upon further investigation officers had reason to

believe the 48 year old female driver was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Officers also learned the female driver was already on a Canada-Wide Driving

Prohibition. The female refused to cooperate with officers and provide a breath sample

and was subsequently charged with Refusal and Operation while Prohibited.
