Woman charged with leaving scene of accident after striking building

On Tuesday at approximately 3:13 pm, RNC responded to a business in Mount Pearl regarding a complaint of possible impaired driving and a vehicle that had hit a building.

After a brief investigation, it was determined the 40 year old female driver was operating the vehicle without an insurance policy and had left the scene of an accident.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver was served tickets for operating a vehicle without an insurance policy and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
