Woman charged with impaired driving following collision

The RNC has charged a woman with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in Corner Brook.
Police responded to Bayview Heights Sunday shortly before 4:00 p.m. following a report that a vehicle had left the road and collided with a tree. There were no injuries.
The 33-year-old was subsequently charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg%. She also had her vehicle seized and her license suspended. She will appear in court at a later date.
In addition, Corner Brook RNC stopped two other impaired drivers over the weekend thanks to tips from the public.
