Woman Charged With Impaired Driving Following Airport Heights Collision

A 56-year-old woman was arrested for impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in the Airport Heights area of St. John’s on Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to the crash at approximately 3:30 p.m. on May 19.

During the investigation, officers determined the driver was impaired and placed the woman under arrest.

Police said the woman was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date on charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
