Woman arrested following assault at St. John's hotel

At 11:00 pm on Sunday evening, the RNC responded to a report of an assault at a downtown hotel in St. John's.

Police responded and conducted a short investigation. A 35-year-old female was arrested for one count of assault.

The female was transferred to the lock-up.

The accused was held in custody and will make a court appearance this morning.
