Woman arrested after threatening and assaulting officers in Mount Pearl

A 55-year-old woman was arrested Friday evening after police responded to a disturbance at a home in Mount Pearl.

RNC responded to the residence at approximately 6:45 p.m. on May 16. While officers were conducting their investigation, police say an occupant of the home allegedly assaulted and threatened officers.

The woman was arrested and taken to the city lock-up. She was scheduled to appear before a judge Sunday morning.
