Woman arrested after residential fire in St. John's

On Friday afternoon the RNC responded to a report of a residential fire in the west end of St. John's.

The fire was quickly extinguished with a fire extinguisher, but officers discovered that the fire had been deliberately set.

Police arrested an 18-year-old female in connection to the incident.

The accused was held to appear in court. She faces charges of arson and uttering threats to damage property.
