Woman arrested after nurse assaulted at hospital in St. John's

A 65-year-old female was arrested following an assault at a hospital in St. John's on Friday evening.

Hospital staff called police to advise that a nurse had been assaulted and threatened by an individual who had attended the hospital seeking treatment.

The woman was charged with assault, uttering threats and breach of probation.

She was taken to the lock-up.
