Woman arrested after disturbance at downtown business

A 48-year-old woman faces multiple charges following a disturbance at a downtown business in St. John’s on Monday.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to the business at about 10:55 a.m. on September 14.
Police say the suspect fled the area on foot before she was later located and arrested.
The woman was taken to Provincial Court and charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and property damage.
