Woman arrested after biting security guard in Mount Pearl

On September 27 at approximately 7:05 p.m. the RNC responded to a complaint of an altercation between a man and woman at a local Mount Pearl business.

Upon arrival police determined that a security guard was trying to detain a female for stealing product from the store. Through further investigation it was determined that the accused bit the security guard on the hand in attempts to flea with the stolen product.

The 31 year old female accused was located by Police dog Services hiding in the bushes in close proximity of the area.

The accused was placed under arrest for robbery with violence and conveyed to the city lock up and held for her court appearance.
