Woman arrested after assaulting a taxi driver

A 34-year-old female will appear in court this morning after an assault in St. John's.

At 8:25 pm on Friday night, the RNC responded to an assault call from a taxi driver in St. John’s.

Responding officers arrested the woman and she has been charged with assault, failure to pay for transportation, and breach of probation.
