Woman arrested after alleged threats in downtown St. John’s

A 28-year-old woman was taken into custody Monday afternoon following a report of threats in downtown St. John’s.
RNC officers responded to a residence at about 3:45 p.m. after receiving a complaint involving threats of death and bodily harm.
Police said officers spoke with the complainant and witnesses at the scene. As a result of the investigation, the woman was arrested and charged with uttering threats, breach of a release order and breach of probation.
She was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
