A powerful winter storm is making its presence known across the province this morning.

In anticipation of the storm, there are numerous closures this morning. The latest closures can be found on our Storm Centre page.

Do you have a closure to add to the list? Call or text (709) 325-7011 or email info@newfoundnews.ca.

Today, significant snow and blowing snow is expected across the Island. Blizzard conditions are expected for eastern and central Newfoundland, including Avalon and Burin peninsulas. Snow accumulations of 35 to 50 cm are possible through today and into Tuesday. Western and Southwestern Newfoundland will also see snow with 3 to 7 cm expected.

There isn't much weather to talk about today in Labrador, with a mix of sun and cloud expected for most areas.
