Wildlife enforcement investigating moose poaching in Castors River area

Resource Enforcement Officers are investigating a moose poaching incident that occurred in the Castors River area on the Northern Peninsula.


Officers received a tip from the public that a moose was killed on the Castors River Resource Road at a location north of Reefs Harbour Junction.


It is believed the moose was poached sometime between February 11 and February 13.
