Wet on the Avalon, Warm Across the Interior

The Avalon Peninsula remains the coolest part of the province as periods of rain keep temperatures down. St. John's reaches just 14°C, while Gander climbs to 15°C under rainy skies. Grand Falls-Windsor sees a mix of cloud and showers with a high of 17°C.

Conditions improve significantly farther west. Corner Brook will enjoy plenty of sunshine and warm to 22°C, while Port Saunders reaches 18°C under mainly sunny skies. Marystown also sees sunny conditions with a high of 21°C.

Labrador experiences the warmest temperatures in the province today. Churchill Falls climbs to 25°C under sunny skies, while Labrador City reaches 24°C with a risk of an afternoon thunderstorm. Happy Valley-Goose Bay enjoys sunshine and a high of 23°C.

Along the Labrador coast, cooler onshore winds keep temperatures lower. Nain reaches 16°C, Hopedale tops out at 13°C, and Mary's Harbour climbs to 12°C, all with a mix of sun and cloud.

On the Northern Peninsula, St. Anthony reaches 15°C under partly cloudy skies.
