Western Health cancels non-emergency surgeries to assist Central Health

Western Health has cancelled all non-emergency surgeries at Western Memorial Regional Hospital and Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for today and Tuesday.

The non-emergency surgeries will be rescheduled.

The cancellation is to support Central Health as they move some patients and long-term care residents out of the Central Health region into the Western Health region.

All other appointments will proceed.
